The Music Ministry of First Baptist Church is honored to host the Concert Choir from Gardner-Webb University on Thursday, February 5, at 7:00 p.m. The Concert Choir is the flagship, auditioned choral ensemble at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. They will present Revelare, a collection of works meant to reflect upon the various ways in which God speaks in our lives. The program explores God’s voice in music, Scripture, nature, and other avenues via repertoire from living composers like Melissa Dunphy and Damon Dandridge alongside historical voices such as Johannes Brahms and Amy Beach. This free concert will be held in the Sanctuary and is open to the public.
